1. Do I have to use a whole tablet to clean my aligner/retainer?
Yes. Clean’ners are designed to form an effective cleaning solution when dissolved from one whole tablet. Any less means the concentration of the cleaning agents is not high enough to be fully effective.
2. Can I use a denture cleaning product instead of Clean'ners to clean my aligner/retainer?
No. Denture cleaning products are not approved for use on aligners and retainers, and may cause them damage. Only ever use specially formulated products like Clean'ners on your aligner or retainer.
3. Can I use toothpaste instead of Clean'ners to clean my aligners/retainers?
No. If you use toothpaste to brush your aligner/retainer, it will gradually form micro-scratches on the aligner’s/ retainer’s surface. It can also create small traps for bacteria to dwell. So only ever use specially formulated products like Clean'ners on your aligners/retainers.
4. Can I use washing up liquid instead of Clean'ners to clean my gumshield?
No. Washing up liquid is not approved for use on gumshields. Only ever use specially formulated products like Clean'ners on gumshield.
5. Can I use mouthwash instead of Clean'ners to clean my aligner/aligner?
No, in fact invisible orthodontic manufacturers do not recommend the use of mouthwash with their products as they cannot guarantee that it will not damage the aligner/retainer so only ever use specially formulated products like Clean'ners on your aligner/retainer.
